The original Porterville gathering originated back in 1996 as a way for folks who had only known each other through the Internet to meet face-to-face, hang out, kick tires, swap lies and ride great roads with one another.
It didn’t matter what kind of bike anyone rode, where they were from or what age they were. The only common denominator was the desire to spend time with like-minded motorcyclists.
Initially, there was no thought of making it an annual event. The original get-together turned out to be so much fun, however, that we decided to do it again the following year and a tradition was born.
The magic of this gathering has always been the camaraderie of wonderful people sharing their common passion of motorcycles, good friends and good times.
We sincerely hope that you will join us in celebrating the spirit of that first rally and make this event truly ‘a gathering of friends’ this Memorial Day Weekend 2010.
